We are on a sailboat and these towels dry very fast so less humidity in the boatWhile not as comfortable as cotton their versatility make them great while on the boat

Works better then cotton at pulling water of your body. It dries very, very fast. It's super light weight and folded up takes very little space to pack. No down side or negatives.

This microfiber towel is the one to buy if you need a smaller towel that dries fast. The picture online makes it look much larger than it is. I didn't check the dimensions... I suggest you do that for your needs. If you want "beach towel" size - this isn't the one for you. On the other hand, if you want smaller bath towel size... this is the one. Works well, dries fast, just like the large, prettier, more expensive ones. This one is functional, if plain, so 5 stars for what it is.
