Handy. Sturdy plastic. Cook's pasta in 10 to 15 minutes, Depending on how much pasta you put in it. Came without instructions. I had to google it. But it works like it should. I like the Water drain On the end. It's perfect for one or two people.

Works great, especially for smaller portions (less than a one pound box). I like that it's one piece, without a separate lid to drain. Put in dried pasta and simply add just enough water to cover it, plus a little salt. I cooked rotini for 12 minutes and it came out great. Cooking time will depend on the type of pasta and your microwave's power, so expect a little trial and error at first.Some have complained that it's no faster than cooking pasta on the stove. For me, its a little faster and a LOT easier.

It came with absolutely no instructions or even a card to scan to get instructions. I downloaded a cookbook from another brand but still not helpful. Angel hair pasta took 24 minutes to cook. So not a time saver. Only good thing? Easy to drain and clean. Ramen took 8 minutes. So this is not quicker to use. Typically I put ramen in a bowel and microwave for 4 minutes and it’s done. This thing took longer. Tried with macaroni and after 30 minutes at the 4th level it still wasn’t even aldente. Would not recommend. It’s already been placed in the recycle bin.

This is a great pasta steamer. It fits full length noodles and cooks them nice and soft in 15 minutes. Love the built in strainer too.

The bottom line is that the lack of instructions leaves you guessing how to use this product and while it does works and it did save me from using a sieve it also didn't convince me that it saved me any time or improved my pasta.
