I have had a Ge over the range (OTC) for about 5 years, having replaced the one that came with the apartment. Two days ago, while using the microwave, there was a pop, and the glass tray snapped in half. Fortunately, it is made of tempered glass, so there were no shards, just a clean break in half. After looking up the replacement cost on the GE parts list, and seeing that they would charge almost $200!! for the replacement, I did some research on Amazon, and even though my model number was not on the list of models this glass plate would replace, I measured the diameter of my original, and took a chance. Perfect fit! In fact, I suspect that this company may be the OEM supplier for GE, in that even the lettering on the glass is identical to the original. Save yourself $150 and buy this glass plate. Just make sure you measure the diameter so you are likely to have a valid replacement.

We dropped the original turntable plate and it shattered all over the kitchen floor. I was surprised at the very high price for an OEM replacement - almost worthwhile to purchase a whole new microwave oven. I found this item and it was much more reasonably priced. Great delivery and a perfect fit. We think this plate is slightly thinner than the OEM one, but it works perfectly and we have no problems with it. The hardest part of getting the replacement was figuring out the correct size to get - the microwave manufacturers do not make it easy to figure that out. We would definitely purchase this again, but hopefully we won't drop this one.

After 2 wrong ones finally this one fits overhead range which is GE make..had trouble finding one and oem was around $90 with 6 weeks wait..key part was the quarter size coupler slot fitment,which most these brands don't have..microwave is working again...

Thanks to Amazon for saving my day...Yesterday, my GE microwave, model "pvm9195svc01" glass turning plate decided to explode because of a small crack it had.That let me with a functionable microwave but that cannot put food inside.Unfortunately, my microwave model was discontinued and I cannot have a replacement part fast. Took my measurements, looked at a few other specialized websites and they suggested that glass plate.It is EXACTLY the same glass plate for my microwave... God that i'm happy. It arrived in around 24 hours and I was back in business. Thank you!
