I bought this set and ruined it by cooking popcorn in it. The base melted. I liked it so much I decided to buy the double one in case I messed it up again. This set is the only one I found on line. I had a gray microwave mat so I decided to cut it to fit this set. So far no melting issues. I will not test it by cooking popcorn though. But there has been no problems with the base of this set. The advantage of this set is that the base is more secure when lifting food out especially with an over the stove microwave. Safety is a priority when dealing with hot food.

Love, durability, it's sturdy. Easy to clean, functions well, bottom plate fits 10" plate. Pull out of microwave oven and let it cool a little before removing your plate. It's easy to open and to use.

This cover is just perfect. Large enough around for dinner plates and importantly, it gives you plenty of ‘head’ room so it doesn’t come close to touching the food. Another plus is that it’s silicone, so no toxic plastics to contaminate your food. I also love the rigid tray that goes under it. That comes in super-handy when lifting bowls of soup, etc., without spilling, that were previously difficult to remove using oven mitts. The tray also adds another inch to the height when needed. Such a great find!

Nice. I had an older plastic dome to cover microwave foods, poorly made, a pain to keep clean. This set looks nice, is not cheaply made, and cleans in a snap. It’s nice to have the base with handles for moving hot bowls. A little pricey for what it is, but I don’t regret buying it.

This makes warming a plate or bowel so much easier. No more having to use towels or mitts for hot ceramics. Just use the handles for the serving tray without worry. The folding top is great for heat dispersion and simplified storage. I can recycle all my old covers as this is a much more practical and usable replacement.

Ended up using for a few weeks and then threw it away. The bottom melted and the top looked dirty after a few uses.
