I had an old drum with an unbranded head and a very rudimentary series of attachment bolts to keep the head in place. I wasn't sure if a standard 10" head would fit with the metal ring frame etc. Once I placed this new head over the drum I was pleasantly surprised that it fit perfectly and the attachment bolts could be tightened to the right pitch. Glad I found this item.
