These are the best aviation snips I've found. They are very sturdy and strong to cut. I cut up broken auto windshields for my sculpture art. They cut exceptionally through. The spring handle helps with not getting tired as easily. I used to use regular scissor like tin snips. There is definitely a difference.

I always struggled cutting with sheet metal shears using: straight, straight left, and straight right shears. These Midwest Aviation Snips are fantastic for flat sheet metal work, and really handy when cutting out a section of existing installed HVAC ductwork to insert a booster fan. Worth their weight in gold.

Feels good and solid in the hand, sharp and true. The left or right handed thing doesn't matter - everyone should have both in their collection to be flexible for a variety of situations. Excellent tool. Nothing cheap about the weight, form or function. Very impressive.

These are excellent American made tin snips. The positioning of the head to the handle allows you to make long cuts through sheet metal without the handle and your hand getting in the way. These are sharp, durable, and the handles are comfortable. If you do a lot of metal fabrication these are a must have.

As an HVAC tech/installer these are by far the most handy snips in my opinion. I love them. Tight corners and angles are nothing with them
