Perfect for my young and my old medium-sized dogs who love to eat! Be advised this Mighty Paw item does not have a suction cup bottom. (I bought a smaller dog lick bowl with suction and this one without suction so I could trial each with my two dogs). This non-suction bowl is bigger and has smaller and a variety of indentations, so it keeps my dog licking and occupied for a longer time period. I have used peanut butter and plain yogurt as well as some of their homemade food that I press into the bottom and sides of the bowl. They continue to lick for about 15 mins. I do pick them up from the floor after the 15 to 20 mins. Both dogs get excited when I bring out the lick bowls. Although the bowls are reported to be dishwasher safe, I have washed them by hand allowing them to soak for a couple of minutes.

I purchased this to help with dog snacking, anxiety and training. I like the shape of the bowl with allows you to quickly prop it up in the freezer for a cooling treat without liquid spilling out. I tend to load all the sides with a variety of options from dog friendly peanut butter, frozen broth, smashed banana slices, dog friendly applesauce, and other dog friendly options. If immediately loading with out chilling it’s smash, spread and go. If chilling 15 mins. 6 month old GSD heavy chewer and haven’t seen a single puncture mark in the bowl so it’s sturdy. Value for money absolutely worth it. I love that when I can see my pup is nearly done I flip it inside out so he’s able to lick away anything remaining. Cleaning is a breeze add to your sink wash, wash like any other item, pop into dishwasher. Easy to fill, clean and allows you a bit of peace while the pup is enjoying a snack.*Note* This bowl has depth to it making it perfect for feeding/watering. Please do not attempt to fill the bowl with treats as they should be given in moderation.

This is a great product but just make sure to measure your feeding bowls prior to purchasing. I figured even if there was a bit of a gap between the feeder and my pup’s bowl it wouldn’t be much of an issue. However, while he was licking and trying to get pieces of his food out, it was spilling over the edge into the gap. Major pro: super easy to clean unlike some of the other plastic puzzle feeders!!

This pad is great for small dog with a lot of energy. Traveling with my dog on a roadtrip and pad really kept her busy and entertained in the hotel room.Definitely kept her mentally stimulated until she passed out.Recommend.

We use lick pads. They are great for our dogs. I have several different brands.Mighty Paw Dog Lick Pad is separated into 4 different areas with 4 different textures for the dogs to experience & if I want I can use up to 4 different "flavor" treats on them. These are all good things. What I definitely DO NOT like are 38 +/- little suction cups on the back. Suction cups are great if you like to stick the pad on the fridge or another vertical surface. But Mighty Paw has SO many suction cups that when you lay it flat to spread the treat on, presumably on your kitchen counter, everyone of theses suction cups adheres to your counter. SO...When you try & lift it up off your counter the treat you've spread on it starts to pop out and off the pad and sprays all over the counter. If you put a paper towel under it this will not happen. However, these suction cups stick to EVERYTHING so after cleaning it when you put it down to dry it stick to what every is under neath it. The other day I had a clean lick pad in my hands, walked over to the counter where I had other dishes. One (or more) of the suction cups latched onto a drinking glass, very quickly and silently. When I moved away the drinking glass came with me attached to the lick pad and fell to the floor. I ended up using an Exacto knife to slice all of the suction cups off the back of my two Mighty Paw lick Pads & this no longer happens.I think the company should re-think all those suction cups.

My dogs dont seek to destroy, so they can handle lick mats and this bowl just fine. As with anything, use under supervision, and make sure that they are licking at it only. If your dog is a chewer, then why would ya think that a piece of silicone is going to hold up to a determined destroyer? You might want to find a piece of thick rubber or steel instead. Then worse, I see pics here of dogs playing with this (tug of war), and then they give it a terrible review for not holding up. It isn't a toy! smhSame material and thickness of other lick mats. Can be used in the shape of a bowl, or in the shape of a dome. The shape of this adds a little extra challenge and interest over the typical flat (we like those too!).Load it up with some num nums, then watch your dog to see how they do. Start to bite? Then redirect or take away.I have two large labs, and they enjoy a little whipped cream, ice cream, or wet dog food smeared inside. If your dog is new to this and/or is prone to chewing stuff then be doubly sure to pay attention to how they are working this. My girl will work on a treat toy until all essence of the food item is gone. My boy is not as enticed by food stuff, so he will do some lazy licks and easily leave traces of food behind. I think he does best with the flat lick mats as he can press his tongue down and get the food easier. The bowl or dome take a little more work, which is great for my girl.MightPaw is out of Rochester NY, which is more or less my neck of the woods. Didnt know that until I came back to review this. Neat!

Updated: vendor saw this review (I did not reach out to them) and gave me a full refund. So have increased to 4 stars, for excellent service.Destroyed within 10 minutes. Not sturdy enough for aggressive chewers.

My dog loves this! It froze well, and kept her busy for a good 1/2 hour- much longer than some other toys! It feels like it’s made with high quality materials, and it’s super functional ☺ï¸

Our dog has had a severe problem eating to quickly from a pup, this has helped alot to slow her down. She's a midsize Shepard cross I thought the product was maybe to small but it works good we only feed a cup and a half of food and it would probly fit nearly 3 cups.Product is easily washable in dishwasher and durable so far.

I have two busy brained dogs (a Belgian and an Australian Shepherd) so I'm always looking for ways to keep them entertained for more than 5 minutes at a time. These definitely qualify. I thought they were a little small when they arrived, but they hold quite a bit and are enough to keep my dogs happily distracted for about as long as a Kong would. My Belgian took all of two seconds to figure out how to pull the mat off the floor, but we haven't had any problem with the dogs trying to chew on them. They're also really easy to clean, which I appreciate. Will definitely be picking up more of them.
