I didn't deduct stars because in the end its my fault, but the description confused me and sounded like it was a trumpet mouth piece, plus when I searched for trumpet it came up in the results. So I learned this isn't for trumpet but for the French horn. The mouth piece is well made and has no nicks or scratches in the finish. It is a very basic mouth piece with no flare or designs so really geared for a student I would say. It fits the horn well and does what its supposed to do. I tested it in a band members horn and they said it was suitable but basic. its a good value and has a low cost point.
