I only found a couple wonky plugs in the box. They fit well and in general I can sand the ones that might have a rough edge. These are half the price of the Kreg pocket hole plugs, so they work for me.

These are fine in a pinch, but I found that often they were smaller than the labeled size, resulting in a lot more glue and mess in the long run. The wood is otherwise fine and sands easily for finishing.

I like these wood plugs and I like the price to.Lowest price I have found on Amazon for this many.I ordered 3 packages of them. 150 total and saved a few bucks.Quality of the wood is excellent.Got nothing to dislike.

I'm writing this review for my husband. All I know is that he drilled out sideways holes to screw in the screws while building rails for my front porch. He wanted these to fill in the empty gaps so that when he was prepping his project for paint, it had a more professional finish. He sat on the porch in a rolling desk chair while pecking these thingies in the gaps. He sat up straight & had a proud smile at his accomplishment. I'd say these are amazing because he didn't curse or throw his hammer once! My porch looks awesome!!

I’ve seen a handful of negative reviews stating they don’t fit, stick out too far, etc….First, depending on the depth of your pocket hole, chances are it will stick out. They’re designed to fit 1/2†to 1†holes! You trim or sand down after the glue dries.As far as not getting the plug into the hole, there’s a tip on Kreg’s site that states to put a handful in the microwave for a few seconds to dry out any moisture. Haven’t had to try that, but will if I run into any problems.

These plugs worked great for my woodworking projects. Did not chip or crack and easy to glue and sand down.

These will work for certain woods only. If you are staining do a test one and see if it looks good. They would work well for paint
