It works and seems to be pretty durable. So far no issues or complaints! It is a nice looking product! Definitely does what a straight mute is supposed to do and the sound is pretty decent!

Do not buy this!! This mute will not allow to play on the correct partial of your instrument. This item is cheap and useless to me. I tried this on a king 2b and bach 42. Do not buy this!! Do not buy this!!

This practice mute works - for the most part. Its construction, on the other hand, is rather lacking and when played, it renders lower pitches nearly a whole step out of tune. If playing quietly is the goal, it's pretty good. If playing accurately while still being quiet is the goal, there are better options.
