I'm not trying to get the name-brand-best to go with my ridiculously expensive tuba. I'm just starting to play different instruments so why get more than I need when this one works great?

I like the soft gold color. The mouth piece fits into my olds tuba. I played tuba for years, then couldn’t afford one after graduating school. I recently bought an older used tuba, and just needed something to see if it would play. This mouthpiece is great. I’m using it while I’m learning to play again and the black box it came in is a hard plastic, so that’d be great for traveling or taking it back and forth to lesson and school.

I keep this tuba mouthpiece in my car just in case I forget my regular one. One day I forgot my trombone mouthpiece and used this one instead. Yes, it fit because I have a Remington receiver. It worked kinda, but it was way out of tune, but it was there.
