Way back when Scepter MFCs were cheap I bought a large number of them and don't want to give them up for the California mandated design gas can cr*p. The Scepter can's only flaw has been the fractured lip on the gasket retention disc so these aluminum versions solve that problem forever. I wish the seller offered a good discount on a quantity buy.

These are rather expensive but well worth it. The plastic ones are prone to crack.

These are great. I've bought 2 of these now for my Scepter MFCs and expect the cans to have no issues for many more years to come. They fix the 1 weak point of these cans; the cap flange (which break after a couple of years of semi-regular use).

This makes the Scepter MFC what it should be. The inner plastic disk is cheap and broke more often than not. The aluminum disk will last forever.

If you have to replace your flange on a Scepter MFC I would highly recommend these. High quality machined part.

Thanks to this flange I was able to save several mil-spec gas cans & will now be able to get many more years of use from them instead of having to throw away an otherwise prefect gas can.
