The Best Glide ASE Compact Emergency Signal Mirror is a durable, compact, metal signal mirror that won't crack like the plastic or acrylic mirrors. Furthermore, the Stainless Steel construction is more reflective than the plastic or acrylic mirror.
The Best Glide ASE Compact Emergency Signal Mirror utilizes a hole in the center to aim your reflection. It also includes instructions printed on the back.
The Best Glide ASE Compact Emergency Signal Mirror comes in 3 sizes measuring approximately 2 x 1.5 inches, 2 x 3 inches, and 3 x 5 inches. The 1.5 x 2 and 2 x 3 are small enough to fit into your wallet, coin purse, or pocket. The 3 x 5 is a little bigger.

However, there may be trace amounts of lead from the machining/stamping production process, which may require warning labels pursuant to California's Proposition 65. Sizing is true. I got the 3x2 and it's smaller than a bank card.It is a solid piece of nicely polished stainless steel. Product comes with a fine cleaning cloth.Product WILL scratch, however with my everyday use of using it to examine myself, I find the scratches that occur to be easily ignorable. Product is very reflective and can be used for emergency scenarios.Sticker on the back of the product provides emergency instructions that are easy to comprehend.Manufacturer paid attention to the edges. Product has edges that are semi-round and non-sharp. Better than other manufacturers that simply stamp and ship.Lines etched into the surface from the factory are only for aesthetics and serve no functional purpose. They are easily ignorable if the mirror is used for self-examination.I got this product because I wanted a thin mirror in my wallet and didn't want something that could shatter. I believe this product fulfills my wishes easily.

If you like having survival equipment as your edc, this is an excellent choice. High quality and very sturdy. Highly reflective and not too heavy.

Over the last year I've been picking up some odds n ends tools and supplies to round out a good pockets EDC. This survival mirror was a good addition. Just slightly larger than a credit card and just as thin, its easy to stuff in my wallet along with a couple other small items to round out other EDC items in my pockets.

A proper glass or even plastic signal mirror with an actual sighting grid costs only a dollar or two more and works much better than this one does. BUT none of those are even close to thin/flat enough to fit into my wallet. This one is, and that's the reason I bought it, even though I own more effective signalling mirrors. The one you actually have with you when you need it is vastly superior to even the world's best heliograph that you've left at home. This one is as flat as a credit card, and the same size. The all-metal construction seems sturdy, and the shiny surface is about as reflective as you could reasonably expect from metal. The instructions on the reverse are adequate for the small space available. The small lanyard holes in adjacent corners are a nice touch. What's missing is a protective film or slipcase to protect the reflective surface on this otherwise apparently sturdy little mirror. The thin double lines etched across the reflective surface serve no useful purpose that I am aware of, while only slightly reducing the mirror's utility. I do wish it came with some sort of thin protective cover or slipcase, perhaps bundled with a matching flat Fresnel magnifying lens.

Great for applications where you need a thin mirror. I have the two smaller sizes. The middle one I just bought came with a strip of lens cleaning microfiber cloth the height of the mirror, but twice the length so it can be folded over it to protect it from scratches. Very useful because scratches are the main downside of metal emergency mirrors.

The product showed up in great shape and on time. I've bought several over the past years for survival tins and they have all either been a little to big or small. This one is the perfect size, nice and thin but yet still solid, the perfect combination of both size and portability in a survival tin. Not near as cheaply built as I was expecting, I think over all a very good bit of gear and great customer support!!!

Very small sos reflector. Can be kept in the pocket of life vest. It is metal so be careful not to bend it.
