I needed to paint three small motorcycle parts, but didn't have any means of drying and cleaning the compressed air. This did it. I bought a couple of them, but only needed one. No filth or spatter got into the wet paint, until of course a fly landed on the part...

Milton makes a lot of stuff for tools that I’ve used prior to using this product. I have an air dryer on my compressor that works great for most of the things I need air for. But when I need to paint something with an pneumatic air sprayer I use these. Simple to use and does a great job. No issues!

I got this but it doesn't say that you need this unit, Milton S-1174 which cost another $74! Not sure if I can return this product since I already opened and damaged the package. If you plan to buy this in line filter, you will need the unit that it fit inside!

Two in series lasted about four hours My three stage still let's water through, even though there's a 50' hose between compressor and them. I installed one of these on the water separator assembly and one before my inline oiler at the tool side. These are 15 cfm, Motor Guard units are 20 cfm and cost less. If you spray paint, one of these is good where my first one is, but I use Motor Guard D-12 units which aren't as robust but are 30 cfm for paint application. When my die-grinder slowed down, I noticed both units were pink. I am now using two cheap bulbs in series, and the D-12 unit on a gravity feed paint sprayer.Update, I now use a cheap red bulb after my water separators, and another cheap bulb before my Coilhose oiler. D-12 Motor Guard unit at each gravity paint sprayer

Nice that Milton Industries still has some products made in U.S.A. These are probably made by Motor Guard. Be careful tighting up on the plastic threads and use teflon tape.
