Milton (#506) Original Dual Head Chuck Tire Inflator Gauge - 15" Hose

Milton Industries specializes in tire inflator gauges and this original S-506 dual chuck inflator gauge was the first gauge of its kind ever built in the industry. We were also the very first in the industry to offer replacement cartridges! Gauge and valve cartridges are both replaceable. This essential pneumatic tool is ideal for any vehicle trunk, home garage, or automotive shop. Dual head chuck inflator gauge is made of heavy duty construction which provides for long life, even under extreme use and conditions. Equipped with magnifying lens for full view of scale. 1/4" NPT air inlet.

USES: Auto, sport utility, truck, bicycle, motorsport, trailers, motor homes/5th wheels, wheelbarrows, golf carts, lawn tractors, motorcycles, ATVs, and more.

1/4" NPT air inlet

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

If using a dual head type tire chuck with an inflator gauge and notice air is escaping through the off-side once connected to the tire’s Schrader valve, simply release the trigger and remove the inflator from the Schrader/tire valve. Point the straight side of the outlet up into the air (make sure it’s not pointed at someone). Squeeze trigger, allow air to flow (gravity will cause the sealing valve to drop), and place the chuck end onto the Schrader/tire valve while air is still flowing. Air will start to flow into the tire.

Dual head type tire chucks are unable to inflate a completely flat (zero air pressure) tire. Tire air pressure would normally cause the sealing valve to move and seal the unused side of the chuck. However, if a tire has 0 air pressure, the self-sealing valve has no pressure to react to.

DRIVE SAFELY: Maintaining proper tire pressures improves vehicle handling, reduces risk of tire failure, improves fuel economy, and increases the life of your tires.

Worked in an Esso Station at 15 years old back in Pa.. I’m now 64 years young. This is identical to the air chuck we had back then and works just as well. Made well, gauge very visible and quality

Solid, old school quality! The gauge is accurate and easily readable. Everything about it is top quality, built to last decades. There's a reason these were and are used in gas stations and tire shops since I can remember -- 1970s at least.

I’ve had mine a couple years now and it’s worth the extra money for sure. I got tired of cheap over seas versions breaking on me, the Milton is well built and reliable.

Great build quality, good design, very easy to use. The gauge is easy to read, but it's about 3 psi off from accurate. All-in-all it's a fantastic tool.

This tire inflator managed to accomplish precisely what I was seeking to do when I placed the order after having the air compressor delivered. I’m now able to completely avoid ever having to visit the gas station for a quick tire inflation.Just as what’s written on the tin — not a single opportunity to complain about anything related to the inflation device. Inflator features the ergonomic shape, pressure gauge readout for that fast confirmation of the number you’ve reached. It’s even sporting a satisfying heft to it giving you that impression of significance and durability.

I've been using this daily since I purchased it. For what it's worth, I've used other Milton products in the past before and never once have I ever encountered a problem, this tire chuck does not fall short of that reputation. I've tested the gauge on this unit up against some of my more expensive, highly accurate (read: $$$) racing-use tire gauges and it's very accurate. For the price, you can't go wrong, it's excellent!!! Don't bother with cheap junk, just buy one of these and have something you can depend on. The only thing that you should be careful of (as you should with any tire gauge) is that you DO NOT drop it.

Shame the scale only shows PSI, they could easily fit a second metric scale. Otherwise perfect value for money. It replaces a clone that rusted up. This one has real brass parts and should last forever.

I have owned several tire inflators in my lifetime, but I to admit my bias in favor of the Milton S-506 inflator gage. The last one I had was stolen, so this one's a new replacement. An excellent shop air tool and a must for tire store technicians.

This product is good quality and has a very accurate gauge. I have tested the accuracy against two other high quality pressure gauges and this unit is spot on.
