I bought this as a gift for my father for Chirstmas, and I did a lot of shopping before deciding on this product. I ordered it from Amazon and it arrived in 5 days. I was very proud to present this as a gift to my father who has been a carpenter and cabinet maker all his life. It is just a very nice and solid feeling drill with nice features. The drill itself is not the cheapest of the right angled drills, but not the most expensive by a long shot. There were several corded right angled drills that were fairly cheap, but their overall lenght of the head of the unit, the distance from the tip of the chuck to the back of of that part of the drill, was almost as long as a regular drill! This drill, as far as right angled drills go, had the shortest distance from the point of the chuck to the back of the head of any drill I saw, period. None were shorter. And that's why you buy a right angled drill in the first place isn't it? To get into tighter spaces! The build of the drill is very solid, it feels heavier than it really is just because it is so solidly built. It has a lot of power for it's size and the size of the battery, surprisingly powerful in fact. The trigger is nice and easy to use, and easy to hold for longer periods of time. The fuel gauge is easy to read and accurate, the headlight shines on what you are working on! The chuck is comfortable to work with and holds bits very tightly without a lot of muscle. The reverse switch is also easy to use. Overall the drill is very ergonomically designed. The soft case is nice enough. It's not a hard case, but it does hold the drill and battery, with room for an extra battery and charger, and keeps the drill clean and makes it easy to transport and store. Very adequate for a tool that is not your main drill, but one that you use for special tasks. The M12 system is great! The batteries are small and light for the amount of power they provide and they charge very quickly, so with two batteries you will never be without power! The charger is also well designed and easy to use, the batteries fit snuggly and the LEDs are easy to read, red for charge, green for full. How easy can you get?Bottom line, this right angle drill does exactly what you buy a right angle drill to do! And does it very well I might add. It just exudes quality, 5 stars easy!

This is the second one I have purchased. I am tired of dragging it back and forth between my beach house and home. It is without doubt my favorite tool. (I have tons of tools)Handy powerful lightweight and just well built. Good battery life and quick charging. The built in light is a super nice feature as well.

As an avid albeit semi-professional woodworker, I've long needed a drill that I can maneuver in tight places. The Milwaukee angle drill does just that. And this tool lives up to Milwaukee's reputation for quality in its products. The kit was delivered by Amazon on time and the cost was better than I could receive from the either of the home improvement stores. The quick set chuck provides for a fast release of the drill being used and a variable speed to adjust the rate at which the drill cuts into the material. A convenient LED light is mounted just below the chuck and provides light in those tight dark places that might otherwise be hard to see. With the battery inserted into the drill, the total weight is a little more than other similar drills, but I don't see this as taking away from the operation of this drill. As a result, I will probably look to other Milwaukee power tools to round out my inventory of current tools. Milwaukee manufactures a great tool and there made in this country and I'm all about putting America back to work!

I bought this to replace my venerable Makita 9v right angle. I find it to be much nicer, and in a way, I'm glad I lost the Makita. I'm a marine electrician which means that I'm frequently working in confined spaces with little or no light. The led light on this is a real blessing. The chuck works great and grips bits snugly. The motor has plenty of torque, as long as you have realistic expectations. It isn't intended to replace a high voltage 1/2" drill. So use it for what it is intended for and I think you'll be very pleased.I have only a couple of criticisms. The first is that, like other reviewers, I find the electronic torque adjustment to be less than ideal. Basically I don't trust it and if something needs fine torque control I'll do the final snugging up by hand. The second problem is the lack of documentation about the led light and overload indicator. The product description states that the drill has led illumination lights, plural. The drill appears to have two leds on the underside behind the chuck. However only one led lit up. Thinking I had a defective unit, I sent it back to Amazon for replacement. (Huge kudos to Amazon in that they cross shipped the replacement unit!) When the replacement drill showed the same symptom I call Milwaukee tech support. It turns out that there is only one white illumination led. The second led is a red one the only lights if you overload the drill. Proper documentation would have saved me grief and Amazon and Milwaukee money.

Good drill and great quality which is typical Milwaukee. Be careful not to pinch your finger between the fluted chuck and drill body.

I helped my husband in the garage. The tool is quite light and easy to handle. The light that comes on when you first squeeze the trigger is sooooo helpful! You can see easily when working in a dark space. Recharge time is very reasonable.
