I do a lot of masonry drilling for my job and we use the M18 version for larger holes but the M12 is much lighter and works much better than a standard drill for drilling the smaller anchor holes in brick. Definitely worth the money.

I needed a powerful hammer drill to go through brick, stone, stucco etc with a 3/8 bit generally between 12-22 inches for residential low voltage installations… this rotary hammer arrived and paired with the hd 12.0 battery I also bought nothing seems to be able to stop this thing! I’m very much becoming a fan of the Milwaukee brand… I started with the m12 fuel hammer drill and impact driver which I love for their lightweight and ease of carry up ladders and in tight spots but the m18 fuel has my attention now as a result of this rotary hammer… very well built and such a beautiful tool! If you need something serious for daily use I’d say this tool is very well suited for light to medium masonry tasks.

my son has the Bosch Rotor hammer, weighs nearly double of the Milwaukee.I don't need the heft, and this has plenty of horsepower for what I'm doing.It will run a 3/4' drill through a block wall just fine.I have a 17 lbs AEG hammer that takes a long time to go through 6" solid concrete, where this super light one will.The 17 lbs AEG hammer from about 30 years ago is getting donated... and it is not cordless

Antes de este taladro usaba un makita alambrico de 800w y dudaba que me fuese a gustar este de baterÃa, pero la verdad es que es muy potente en pocas ocasiones extraño al makita, rara vez. Me gusta mucho este taladro milwaukee. Y sobre todo la reacción delos demás cuando lo ven: "asu mai, ta' bueno ese rojito"...Además se acabó mi dolor de codo por tanto uso de taladró ya usaba una hipocondilera o faja de codo por qué uso mucho tiempo el taladro pero ya la dejé de usar por q si ayuda mucho el amortiguador del Milwaukee sds estoy muy muy contento con mi taladro.llevo usándolo casi 2 años.

I’m an electrician and sometimes finding an outlet in a parkade for example where they can be few and far between takes longer than the actual fix. If I lost this today I’d buy another tomorrow. Love it!
