I like this drain snake because it is light weight and easy to use. I have no issue with the fact that this nake is not an auto feed. Most small drain snakes of this kind are not typically an auto feed. I would like to mention that there was a hiccup with my order that I won’t go into but instead would like to point out how responsive this seller is and how they chose to go above and beyond to make things right even after the miscommunication was resolved. It’s unreasonable to expect perfection from everyone all the time so when mistakes happen it is how someone deals with them that speaks to their honor and character so buy from this seller with confidence.

This thing is totally worth it!!! As the picture shows it comes with the Milwaukee 12v electric snake tool, charger, 1 12v lithium battery, and tool bucket to store everything. As the other review pointed out that it doesn't auto feed but all you have to do is pull out the cable (when it's not on lol) until you hit the clog. Give a little slack in the cable so there's a slight bend and lock it in place. I used the tool for the 1st time on a clog and it literally took 1 minute. I think it's better the tool doesn't come with a self-feed option as that's just something else that could break. Putting back the cable was a breeze too, with the tool off. I do recommend getting Ridgid Drain Cleaning Mitt. As my master plumber friend said, "hey you don't want to lose your arm holding the cable without a mitt." I think the extra 20 bucks for the mitt is worth the extra safety.

I bought this snake a couple years ago, and while it’s been a champ, after clearing tubs, showers, and sinks, the chuck refuses to lock. In fact the cable won’t even go down a drain anymore, rendering the snake essentially useless until I’m able to get it either repaired by Milwaukee or I purchase the replacement part myself. On top of that the power has always been lacking which is to be expected as it is part of the m12 line up. That being said the two main pro’s is the affordable price point and the convenience of not needing to plug it in, the caveat being the lack of power/battery life. for the casual homeowner it is a good purchase . As a plumber and a building superintendent, when the lock on the chuck began to burn out and I began to struggle more and more with this tool, to me isn’t worth the aggravation anymore. I did make my original money back from the purchase, maybe m18 is better, but that steep 700$ price tag drove me away, so I ordered a new RIDGID k45, happy drain hunting lol

Don't buy this. No auto feed. Might as well connect an regularly snake to a drill. You have to feed and retract manually. This is too expensive to do so little.
