This is what we use at work. And they stand up to most abuse. Tho after a few months of semi heavy use and battery mounting and dismounting, sometimes u have to hold battery in firmly while in use, which obviously is a big inconvenience.

I bought this because I have a few spare 12v batteries from my heated jacket that only get used in the winter. Buying this impact driver I did not have to buy more batteries and from past history using my 12v Dewalt tools, I found that the 1/4" impact driver is by far the most used tool I own.

It has 3 lights also to aid in lighting area working on ,also has 4 speed settings and a nice stable 1/4 bit receiver that is easy to install and remove attachments bits . Brushless motor is strong for 12 volts system and Milwaukee has a reputation of being a great product. Very impressive and light weight unit.

The impact is light and powerful enough to get well over 90% of jobs done as an electrician.

Wow I can’t believe that I have slept on the m12 platform for so long and i seriously can’t believe that this is a 12 volt tool!!! 3600 RPM it’s silly fast and the grip not only fits my hand incredibly well but it sits at an incredibly comfortable angle I got it specifically to pair with my Mac Tools RBRT master bit set along with the Snap-On 1/4†magnetic hex drive ratchet which is a 4.5 inch long 1/4†dual 80 ratchet just instead of a standard square anvil it’s got a magnetic hex drive to accept bits and the best part is that the ratchet sits perfectly between the ratcheting screwdriver and the first row of bits with no modifications to the blow molded case at all and the lid closes just like it did before the extra ratchet was added you’d never know it was there until you open the box but you would also never know it was there if it was removed literally the ultimate set in my shop I mostly work on small gas and Harley Davidson motorcycles I had been using my ingersoll Rand 3/8†drive cordless impact and specially purchased the RBRT bit sockets but after 4 Torx 3 long shanked ball end hex and one seven piece SAE rail set and realized that I needed to get the metric rail to match the SAE set i currently have not only the fact that the vast majority of all the fasteners in the world dealing with any kind of repair I may have to attempt automotive included really the one main use for SAE is that Harley’s are 85% of the work I do and outside of a that I would have no need for SAE sizes in the same way I do but the reason why I wanted the metric hex so bad was because it goes up incrementally so between each SAE is the metric size and when dealing with rounded machine screws sometimes tapping in the next size in metric will get it to grab what little bit is left without the need for drilling out the head and to sum up the point this set has Torx plus triple square and Robertson bits as well being Canadian the Robertson are not rare enough especially with my father being a devoted adopter of the #2 Robertson and so I use them all the time and compared to going out and buying all those bit sockets this was an alternative add the ratchet and the majority of my workflow and comfort level would be maximized and then I got this unit and it is 110% a game changer as much as the RBRT was a game changer this little impact is the last piece of the puzzle that makes up the trifecta of perfection it’s super well built on point with my ingersoll Rand the quality is excellent for the price honestly its really reasonably priced and the 12 volt badge is deceiving and is likely to be the main reason why more people don’t adopt the platform
