Color Changing Rope Lights
Rope lights look more vibrant and electric than other color changing LEDs. The lights have up to 16 different colors to choose from, and they are plenty bright in every color. You can make the lights all one color at a time. Red for Valentine’s Day, green for St Patrick’s Day, purple for Halloween, orange for Thanksgiving, red and green for Christmas.

What's there not to like about these Color Changing Rope Lights? Not much. The set up was easy. You just need an available AC outlet. I put these up and around my Apt. Walls/Ceiling area. I used masking tape so as to not damage my walls. The color of the tape also 'masks' my white walls pretty well too. Once put up and plugged in I have two ways of controlling the light colors and displays. You have basic functionality with the 2-button controller that's connected on the light rope between the AC Adapter and the beginning of the lights on the rope -OR- for much more functionality you can use the included Multifunctional Remote. What's nice is it's very small, thin and super simple to use. There are a whopping16 colors to choose from and varying display options as well. It really does light up my room so well. I set the color to my mood on any given day. I just love it. And my guests are always blown away with the eye-popping light show as well. These colored rope lights are so much cooler and safer to use than lighting candles to set any mood.My only negative is that since the lights rope came all spiraled up in it's box (as it should and as shown on the product page), it was very difficult for me to get a nice, clean straight line of rope along the wall/ceiling area. Instead it looks as you can see in the photos provided. More wavy throughout. It's still not too bad looking all things considered and not that noticeable but just know what to expect when you plan to set it up. These were really meant more for outdoors and are more fitting for spiraling around a tree or railings.

Installed lights today, went pretty well. Even though you will see 1/2-inch screw-in loop hangers recommended or bundled, don't order those. It's too big and the rope lights will slide around and not give you a straight edge look. I ordered the 3/8 inch, and they were too big too. I had to add a zip-tie to the rope lights anywhere it passed through the hangers to keep them from pulling back and not giving a clean, sharp line look. Wishing I would have ordered 1/4 inch. It was definitely extra work, but it came out well with the zip-ties.9-month update... I know I said I would update after 6 months, but I wanted to get through the summer heat to see how they did. They are still great. No issuesFor those saying that they couldn't get them to straighten out, uncoil them fully and leave them in the sun or a warm place for an hour or two with the ends weighted down. Laid mine in the driveway in the sun, they stayed pretty straight.Great effects, lots of color choices and changes. Will have to see about the durability through the season, will update review in 6 months, hope to give a 5 star if they stay durable. Fun to see the effects from the remote.Remember, the lights themselves are pretty waterproof but NOT the plug or the control board. Weatherization is needed for those items if used outside.9-month update: I know that I said that I would update after 6-months, but I wanted to get through the heat of the summer to see how they held up. Thay are still great. Lots of color options and choices. Love having the timer feature, they come on every day around dusk and stay on until about 11:30pm and auto shut off. Enough light at night where I don't have to have my porch light on to use my keys on the front door. I highly recommend them, upped my review to 5 stars. 99 feet for 80 bucks? A steal.

work great, my wife loves them, They remember the setting when the power is cut off and on via my timer.I would recommend buying them longer then needed, you can always run them further, or around something

After several seasons of year round use, the rope lights we had around the eaves of our home finally died. Bought two 35 foot strands of these as replacements.The sheathing on these lights is much stiffer than my previous ones, and it comes tightly coiled in the box. As a result, it took quite a bit of effort to uncoil and halfway straighten the light strand enough so that they could be installed. Note, these lights are 3/8†in diameter. The plug assembly is too long for use inside an outdoor multi-outlet control box, and that part of the unit is not waterproof.Despite the impressive number of buttons on the remote, you cannot program specific color combinations (e.g. red and white for Valentine Day, or Red White and Blue for the 4th), like my old lights. The remote has a very short range. The LEDs work fine but are also spaced about 5†apart, so not very high density.All in all, not my best purchase; I almost returned them, but they are satisfactory for use for the holiday season.

These work great for the price. I have them on the ground at my RV and they have been rained on several times with no issues. The lights only are on the ground the power supply and the controller are up and covered. The remote has to be close to work. Have been using them for 3 months every night from sunset to sunrise. The rope is stiff so be prepared to work with it and secure it.

Nice bright rope lights. It’s to bad they cannot be extended up to three strands. Have had them up for a month now and very happy to have colored rope lights
