I bought this primarily to protect the gimbal on my DJI Mini 4 Pro. It did just that, when I attempted to land manually on top of my hard case. I landed no problem, but then the drone slipped off the case and on to the ground. There was a slight nick on the hood that showed it took the brunt of the drop force. Not sure how much sun it will block, and I think it will take a little of the upward camera angle away, but the gimbal is quite fragile on these drones, and it did protect it.

Probabaly the best silcone sleeve ive seen so far. Most of these fit like junk. This one is good enough for me and the people I run with. The gray color goes well with RC 2s color scheme. The cover fits tight, but not to a point where it feels like it's gonna break the controller or mess up the joysticks. I'm surprised how legit it is. Good job to whoever made this. I would recommend to others and/ or buy another if I mess this one up

Well it helps some. It mite make your drone bounce in the wind a little. But it does cut the sun glare from the sides. Nice if your trying to get time lapse of a highway. I would recommend to have in your kit.
