It works and raised the engine enough to scooted it forward enough to make my 224cc fit on an mm80 frame. You will need to drill 2 holes in your existing plate 5/16 holes but that's not an issue for me I'm able to run 50mph and go l don't feel like the motor will have any issues

Works great on my doodlebug db30. I installed a predator 212 engine and it fit really well with the adapter plate. It also gave it room to adjust the chain if I needed to

When I build minibikes, I build them from the ground up. I make the frames. I quite literally build them. If I don't use one of these things, then engine mounting is a chore, because I have to slot the frame. That is a lot of work to do properly. With these, I just need to drill some holes. The slots are already there. That is a monumental time saver.I have had several of these on several minibikes, and I've never had a problem. This one in particular is on a minibike with a predator 212. It has bombed around the farm with no issues. The included hardware isn't the highest quality, but you can always just replace it if you're worried about that.
