Bought this as a give away prize for our Cub Scout Pack as part of a fundraising "top seller" prize. You would have thought I just gave this kid a new puppy! Haha! Absolutely loved it. It's the perfect size and looks great. Yes, the text is small, but this isn't a complaint at all because the clip itself is small, which again, is not a bad thing. Despite the small text size, it's very easy to read and clearly visible. The Compas and thermometer are accurate and do what they should do! Would definitely buy again!

I bought this SnowlyPEAK Mini Carabiner Compass Thermometer Keychain expecting a handy, multi-functional gadget for hiking and camping, but it turned out to be completely useless and even dangerous if relied upon in the outdoors.The Compass is Useless – It randomly points in different directions and is completely unreliable. If you’re in a survival situation or trying to navigate on a hike, this could get you lost rather than help you find your way.Thermometer is Impossible to Read – It’s so tiny and poorly made that you can barely see the temperature. Even under good lighting, the numbers are hard to make out, making it practically useless.Flimsy Carabiner – The carabiner feels extremely cheap and flimsy like it could snap at any moment. I wouldn’t trust it to hold anything important, let alone be used as a keychain for essential gear.This product should never be used for hiking, backpacking, camping, or survival as advertised. If you rely on this in the wilderness, it could be a matter of life and death. Save your money and get something that works. DO NOT BUY!

This carabiner is weak the spring gave out, the compass leaked. The thermostat worked good tho.

I figured this was small, but seeing it surprised me at the size of it. It's okay for the compass feature, that is readable enough. But even with glasses on, I still need a magnifier to read the numbers on the thermometer.I have this clipped onto my backpack via the mini-carabiner feature, where it would be perfect if I could only read the numbers.

I'm an ultralight backpacker and hiker, and when I switch from my overnight bag to my daypack, I always have to move my tiny compass. I ordered this to keep on my daypack bag so that I didn't have to do that anymore.It's a solid option for a light weight, low cost compass. The thermometer/carabiner is a bonus - you could even replace the carabiner on you inreach mini with this one if you wanted!

Size is perfect to take anywhere no problems. Color is really nice makes it like nice. Worked perfectly while on my walks to far!
