- In order for your signal booster to work properly, please check your outdoor signal strength where you plan to mount your outdoor antenna.
- First, locate a spot where there is both a usable signal and easy access to the antenna, when you stand there, the signal icon of the mobile phone has 1~2bars.
- Second, please check the RSRP value of your mobile phone frequency band according to the method of query frequency band. The value needs to be โฅ-110dBm.

It is very easy to install and set up. The main thing is to use a tower location app to find your closest tower and point it directly at that. And try to get it as high as you can to ensure better signal strength. This unit does exactly what it is intended for. It has boosted our signal significantly making streaming and gaming actually possible via cellular internet.

I could not send texts in groups or with media in my basement due to poor signal. With this thing up and running, it works just as well there as if I were outside where my signal is strong. It takes a bit of time for installation, to get it done well, but there are some good YouTube videos of people doing it. It is not difficult if you are handy and are willing to drill through your house. I am thrilled with how well it works--as long as you can put the antenna in a spot that receives decent signal. I hid the inside parts inside a drop ceiling, so it is invisible inside for us.

The product was fairly simple to install but did not work well initially. After receiving an unexpected text from Abeni with the HI Boost technical support, we were able to then adjust for optimal performance. Tech was very knowledgeable and offered recommendations without being too technical for me to understand. I recommend this product and their support team wholeheartedly.

We didn't have a very good cell signal in our home initially (maybe 2 bars), but after our neighbor put up a tall metal-sided pole building, we started having difficulty placing and receiving calls as well as even sending texts. After reading a ton of reviews, we took a chance on the HiBoost mini cell signal booster. After using one of the recommended apps to locate our next nearest cell towers, we experimented with placement of the antenna until we found the best signal. All I can say is it works fantastic for us - we now have five bars throughout our home!

My workshop has metal walls and roof. Before installing this booster I had no signal, now I have full 4 bars! The setup was easy and it works just as described. I wasn't sure about the indoor power / distance rating but I believe this is a better solution than other similar units offering higher indoor power since there is less interference between the indoor and outdoor antennas. I would only consider the other units if you have a large interior space with lots of walls. I'm very happy with this booster in my workshop!

I am writing this review from inside a metal building where I could never get a cell signal! It worked so well we were able to stream the College Football Championship!! A HUGE shout out to customer service and Liam for helping me get set up and for checking in a few days later to make sure everything is working as it should!

Very much worth the investment. This unit doubled the strength of my cell phone reception. Read on for details--I have a mountain home that normally gets a one bar signal, but sometimes no bars and sometimes two bars. After hurricane Helene took out my At& T phone and internet coverage, I decided to buy the cheapest cell phone booster on amazon and give it a try. Installation was relatively easy, though the Hi boost installation manual and cell phone application, while usefully detailed, could be more clear in its explanation of how the various factors of the installation affect signal strength. The Hi boost cell phone app, if you can understand it, informs you of the adjustments needed to do two things: 1. Shift the direction of the antenna to better receive signal from tower and 2. Change the location of the booster unit to isolate it from interference from the signal antenna. After some experimentation with this, I was able to improve my signal from normally one bar to normally two or three bars. Big improvement. Also, on the second day after my installation I was contacted by a Hi boost technician, Liam, asking how the installation went. Liam was very dedicated and helpful and helped me understand how to make sense of the readings shown on the HI boost app. I was able to understand the logic of the readings I was getting and more fully understand how to make adjustments to the positions of the antenna and booster unit. I now often get a five bar signal. I am quite happy with these results and highly recommend this product.

Pros: Works well and easy to set up. Provides sufficient boost to stream where I am. Iรขโฌโขm in a bowl so getting the outside antenna up high was paramount. Itรขโฌโขs up 30รขโฌโข. Inside range from the inside antenna is about 12รขโฌโข (thatรขโฌโขs the maximum Iรขโฌโขve tried where Iรขโฌโขm in an RV) or so and still providing enough gain.Cons: directions are a loose translation from รขโฌลXรขโฌย country of origin so was only slightly less easy to understand. I just think any business that wishes to sell a product globally should do a touch better but it definitely isnรขโฌโขt a deal breaker.Advertises up to 60db boost is probably a laboratory test. Real world results are always different. The HiBoost DOT says 5G compatible but make sure you research the bands that are being used and if they use those bands with 5G then it will work. My area does not support 5G on the bands but LTE works fine for me. Just do your research before purchasing to ensure itรขโฌโขs compatible. I did check beforehand and have been pleased after my old booster (WeBรขโฌยฆ.) became obsolete (gotta love planned obsolescence). I think the app is fairly accurate but might be a touch misleading and optimistic in signal quality but this again is not a deal breaker. If your provider is compatible and you find a good higher place to put the outside antenna and pointed in the best direction, give it a try because you can always return it I imagine (check on that to make sure). And to boot, this is a fraction of the cost of the othersIรขโฌโขm a happy customer so far. Disney works, email, phone calls and internet
