I purchased this centrifuge and didn’t use it for almost 6 weeks from purchase. Brand new out of the box. I turn it on and the top flies up. It’s so loud and vibrates the top open as soon as you turn it on. I have a product I was never able to use once and past the return date. Sucks big time

This item and right away, it was so loud that I had to place it outside. Even after placing the centrifuge on the porch with the door closed, I could still hear it and began to worry my neighbors would complain! Yes; it's that loud. The sound is slightly dampened if you can find a heavy object to keep the lid from vibrating against the body, but not by much. That said, the item works but beware of the noise factor.
