I thought I ordered a 10-ft drop but I guess I ordered 5 ft but it's fine it's small and it's plenty strong for most light jobs. I ordered a second one and it's bigger it's only $10 more and it has a 10 ft drop more lifting strength

Great tool, works well, its a bit slow, but like it much more than a come a long! Safer and far easier to reverse.

Pawl does not stay engaged. Bought 2 and one clutch slipped. The replacement did the EXACT same. Returning all three, not reliable. WOULD NOT recommend!

I've never been an electric winch guy on off-road vehicles. Call me old-fashioned, but I've always gotten by with the old come-along, which these hoists are known as. Well, my dad borrowed my old one, and now it is gone. So, I needed a replacement. I thought to check Amazon to see what they had. I came across this product for a reasonable fee, and it seemed good so I ordered it. When I unboxed it, I was deeply impressed. It is very heavy duty, and well-built. Pretty amazing. But did it work? I put it to the test. Well, it pulled a deeply buried old 5ft steel scraper blade from a dark corner of my barn with very little effort. Yeah, it took a while. But it made a lousy job possible, and now it lives perched on my off-road vehicle. I do not doubt it will pull the vehicle from a muddy hole. Buy with confidence- this is a tool, not a toy.

It’s a compact winch which should work well for me it’s for light jobs not heavy
