Tips：

I included photos with and without flash. With the flash you just see the shimmer. On the left, I have a base of just a basic yellow, green and blue from Prang watercolors. Then I added this paint on top. The right of each color is it by itself. It’s absolutely stunning. The lighter colors are less pigmented than the darker and I believe the color shows up best with layers. To me it’s the most vivid with an under layer / base. The kit is smaller than a pen but comes with tons of colors. I really like that they’re small. The cakes are plenty thick so it will last a long time and it doesn’t take up much storage space. Super happy I went with these over the others listed on Amazon!

Yes, they are small. I am an artist. I have an art degree. Super high quality expensive artist grade watercolors come in bigger packages with the SAME size wells. Those watercolors are beautiful. They layer for the depth you're looking for. And so incredibly inexpensive. With watercolors, you don't need giant wells, bc they last a really long time. Order these. You won't regret it. One last note: they will travel anywhere. Even in your purse, with a brush and a small source of water. Actually, a tube brush would be perfect!

I swatched my colors and love the colors. I know people have mentioned they are small, which is true; however, I think these paints will go a long way, so I am unconcerned about that. Great shimmery watercolor paints!

The color saturation is mid. The sparkles are pretty. The colors are pretty. The pallet itself is tiny and the trays of paint fall out easily.

These watercolors are a little dry at first, definitely in need of a spritz of water. Otherwise, they have lovely color, shimmer, and lay over colors very well. A really good deal for the price. The package it comes in a little flimsy, but it wouldn’t be that hard to re-pan them in another watercolor palette. I rearranged them in the original packaging in a better order. The swatch sheet is roughly the order I put them in, with more pigment to water ratio going down for each color.

Bought a a gift that I won't even give. It's so small I'd be embarrassed to call it a gift. I think the whole thing is like 3 inches and every color is microscopic.Rip off

I knew these were paints I would try but not really use, but I'm a sucker for cute cases and so I bought these for the Matisse Cats box. Ugh. Just a small flat plastic box with a card inside half showing the picture from the listing- not even the whole image- and the box has stickers on it that cover the picture. This info should have been included in the description. I am going to keep it because it was cheap, not worth returning, but I am pretty bummed and kinda mad. The paint pans are really small (quarter pans if that-?) The paints look ok, nice colors, I guess, but definitely not anything I need. I have better quality "professional" glitter paints in my studio, but I never use them either. Really just bought for the cute kitty pic on a case I won't be able to use for paints. Know what you're buying before you pay actual money for this set. You can get a set of 10 boxes this size for a couple of bucks at the dollar store. Paint your own cat pictures to stick inside them.
