Your cart is empty. This mini mill belt drive conversion kit provides an easy-to-install alternative to the noisy and fragile factory-installed gears that drive the spindle on the mini mill.
This kit is CNC-machined from the highest quality materials. Designed to run full-time, it is built to last. The CNC belt drive conversion kit includes one belt.
Change speeds without any tools. Simply remove the guard, loosen the lever locks and move the belt from one pair of pulleys to the other. Low speed range is 0-1700 RPM. High speed range is 0-4300 RPM.
The installation is bolt-on and takes about 20 minutes.
The small pulley has a 9 mm bore with a 3 mm keyway. The large pulley has a 30 mm bore with a 5 mm keyway. If your shafts don't match these values, then this belt drive will not fit your mill.

This is high quality. Precise fit and easy install. Highly recommend this upgrade from the start because you will eventually have to do it anyway, due to the plastic gears that will strip out with use.

Fit and finish is great. Paid $159.95 plus tax and shipping. Few things in life are a no brainer - this is one of them. Buying this accessory is essential for running the Sieg X2D mini mill which is sold under many different names. The pulleys and plates appear to be CNC'd. Think of the cost of buying the raw materials, parts, the machine time etc and the time to figure out the dimensions etc to make this kit ; the $159 is a true bargain. This kit expands upon the available speeds of the mill and reduces sound and eliminates the need to replace the original weak and easy to break plastic speed gears. Arrived double packed box within a box. The seller Little Machine Shop is great! LMS included printed paper instructions too. Highly recommend Little Machine Shop!

An absolute necessity. The mill is a joy to be close to. Installation is straight forward. My only issue on my machine , CX605 from Busy Bee Tools , was the metal cover over the fine feed shaft. The cover interfered with the spindle lock and prevented the base plate from seating squarely on the head. Not an issue because a new cover is a breeze to fabricate. I am very pleased with the kit. It was complete and I found the finish of the parts very good. More than happy. Many thanks LMS. Carl

I like this upgrade alot. I have the Harbor freght mini mill and it's like a different machine smoother and quiet. The only thing is the price of this belt drive system. If I paid more attention to what I was buying I would have made it myself.

I have a power feed on my mill and cut notches in 1/16 x 1" brass tube and was having problems because the feed had to be on the absolute lowest speed I could set it on. Any faster and the cuts were rough, any slower and the power feed would stall. The extra 1800 rpm's were exactly what I needed. Now I can run the feed a little faster without being so close to stalling. Stock is 2500 rpm and this converts to 4300. Super easy to install.
