I have a 6000 lb. Boat needing to fit between my motorhome and my warehouse wall. The trailer has four wheels, and me; the owner who can’t back it up without nearly running into things, or off concrete. I spent a week looking at different models , many overpriced, many complained about. Spotted this one, manufactured by a company that builds truck winches. Figured if they can build something as strong as winches…this would be ok. Turned out to be fantastic. My bro- in - law directed me from the stern, parked the boat two inches from the wall. First time; worked great. Only problem I found was poor instructions. Great drawings, but confusing explanations. Gen. 3 strong…pushed boat over 1/2 inch concrete garage entrance like it wasn’t there. So far..really worth the cost.

9/18/2024 I received the Mini Mover 3 Trailer Jockey Wheel, and could not install it into the Jayco Flight SLX 15BHW frame because the New Robust Clamp was too small for the Jayco steel frame, I had to return it after a while of waiting from Walmart. I hope the engineer remakes the steel piece larger.

Generally I do not write reviews, but this is one of the best buys I have made for my boat. The Novawinch Mini Mover 3 Trailer Jockey Wheel makes moving my trailered boat around a breeze. I have a 18' pontoon boat on a single axile trailer. Total weight is about 3,200lbs (tongue weight about 350lbs). The one wheel Trailer Jockey makes it much easier to maneuver and turn the unit on a dime. I power the unit from the boat battery (ran a 8AWG power cable from the back of the boat to a power port on the front of the boat so I can plug-in and power the Trailer Jockey when I need to use it). I like that the mount bracket attaches to the tongue of the trailer, very sturdy (much better than just sitting on a 2" ball trying to drive it around). I leave the mounting bracket attached on tongue and just install and remove the one wheel Trailer Jockey to move around and store the boat at home. Built in brake holds boat on my slight incline driveway. I have used the Trailer Jockey for about 3 months now and would highly recommend this unit to move your trailer around.

I liked that the product looks like it's built very strong, and I don't think it will have any problem moving my Wolf Pup. I'm under 6000 lbs. In honesty I haven't been able to try it out yet since I'm awaiting the backplates for the no drill install. I called the number for the Novawinch US company to let them know that my unit did not come with the backplates. I talked with Jan, and they weren't aware that the backplates were optional, but they will make it right for me, and have some sent from their supplier. They were very apologetic for not knowing about this issue. Jan was super nice, and I have no problem in believing their promise to make it right. I was very impressed with their customer service. I will not have any reservations in buying from this company again. I'm eyeing a portable winch that they carry, and debating the mountable one instead.Good company.
