I tried this to do seed starts indoors. It doesn't work well at all. It either shoots out all the seeds at once, or it doesn't pick up a seed at all. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money. You can use a tweezer and get the seeds out of your hand, it's easier.

This is great for making small seeds easy to plant, I used it for carrots and although it lets more than one seed at a time out, it is great.

I planted a whole 4X3 bed of carrots , the first row I got 10 and nothing in the other two rows. Carrot seed were new this year, . I could not check progress when planting as seeds are too small and the same color as the soil.
