This is a wonderful tool for a temporary stitch. Iรขโฌโขm currently using this to hold the pant cuff (When Iรขโฌโขm shortening pant legs) at the desired length while they are on the person. This works much better than pins as they will hold better, are safer and you donรขโฌโขt have a bunch of pins around that can stick you or someone else. They are also very easy to remove once you have your permanent stitch in place. Now for the big question, will these work for a longer term solution to stitching something normally? Not really. What this tool does is install the exact same plastic hanger that holds price tags on at stores or holds sock pairs together at the store. They are short and if you have thin fabric it will not hold a hem tightรขโฌยฆin fact there will be a fair amount of play in the hem due to this tool not being able to pull anything tight like in a true stitch. They can also be pulled apart easily, think pulling a tag off clothing, same effort to pull these apart. All of this being said, it is a fantastic tool to use as mentioned at the top of this review. For a temporary stitch it is awesome. Itรขโฌโขs quick and there arenรขโฌโขt a ton of needles floating around. Just the one in the tool. This is a wonderful tool but like any tool itรขโฌโขs good when used in the right application. Can you put a lot of these in a hem and never stitch it normally? Sure but the plastic will eventually break and Iรขโฌโขm doubtful it will hold up through too many times through the dryer if even once. Also the ends of the plastic piece where it makes a T to hold on from pulling out of the fabric might be felt if it rubs against your skinรขโฌยฆmultiply that by a lot of these and Iรขโฌโขm not sure youรขโฌโขd like it that much. In my opinion these are just a supurb replacement for pinning needles in a hem or if you are traveling and just need a very temporary emergency fix.

I will say it is simple to load and simple to pull the trigger. In other words, it is easy enough to operate.Unfortunately I'm disappointed with the end result. I've tried using this stitching gun for several different projects with no real success. In one case, the stitches went right through the fabric and did not hold. In another the stitches were too long. Perhaps I've just not found the right project for this tool.

I have used this little stitching gun for many small projects around the house. It have used it to alter curtains, dress necklines, sleeve cuffs, repair a clothing organizer, etc. I really like having the small zipper case to hold the gun and the plastic stitch strip. Everything is in one place! I highly recommend this stitch gun.

This is great for quick repairs, such as a hem that's come undone! It isn't meant for use on heavier fabric however.

How did I go my entire life without this. Since I got this little stitching machine I have saved hundreds of dollars in tailoring. It is very easy to use, the stiches last all day and sometimes multiple days, it fits in my purse, and was super cheap to buy. Every woman needs one!
