1.The hourglass production process will make the timing error of about 10%.
2.The sand is burned to match the color and become, there will be black particles of impurities inside, not a quality problem.
3.The sand is powdered, there will be static electricity, so the sand sticky wall and occasional card sand is a normal phenomenon, shake a few times or sunny days put in the sun will ease.

I am using the 30 minute hourglass at my workstation to get me to stand up. Too much sitting has not been good for my lower back per my Physical Therapist.
