I have really tiny ears so I needed the smallest hoop possible for my tragus and this did the job and then some! Love how small it is and I love the gold tone. Super easy to use as well since it's more like a clicker then one of those bend in and out of shape type earrings. It seems good quality so far and hasn't tarnished, I've worn it now for about a month and do not remove it. Unfortunately I have no odd metal allergies so I can't comment on that front.

I got the 3mm goldtone huggie hoops about 2 years ago. They still have the goldtone. The hinge is a looser so fastening them is a little trickier but the clasp still clicks and they are secure. The 3mm size is hard to find but these are great for a cartilage piercing or I like it as my highest or middle lobe earring.

I ordered these a year ago. Today I noticed that the gold plating is visibly faded away. I've worn them almost 24/7 for the whole year: I take them off to put in another pair of earrings when I go out, and then when I get home I put these little ones back in. I slept in them, showered in them, swam in the ocean in Mexico, swam in salt and chlorine pools, soaked in hot tubs. They took a year to look noticeably faded. For the price I think that's pretty good and I just ordered another pair to replace them.
