Used the Abralon 4000 grit pads with my orbital sander as the final step in reconditioning foggy plastic headlight covers on my car. Used a few drops of Dawn dish detergent in a small squirt bottle of water, squirted it on the headlight cover and sanded it with the Abralon pad. Used a 2000 grit first then the 4000. Came out looking like new with no special restoration kit or anything else. They last pretty long too. Just rinse them out and set out to dry.

This is an unusual abrasive that flexes beutifully and is used wet with excellent porosity. It works very well.

These are perfect for use on solid surface counter tops.If I had one request, it would be that the manufacturer color code its pads.
