Construction is good and it looks very nice! The only issue I have are the gigantic ports for the feed and return line. They may have built it with monster trucks in mind? My tiny power steering system will not accept the large fittings, and I have yet to findcorrect sized ones for my application. May or may not use it. Time will tell.***Update*** Found correct size fittings, you will need m12x1.0 thread with 3/8 or 10mm barb.

I have Z1 silicone hoses that have replaced all of my OE rubber hoses under the hood of my 350Z. The issue with this reservoir is that the terminals protrude from the cylinder at an angle that is divergent from the OE power steering reservoir. As such, the hoses are not capable of accommodating this reservoir. It's a shame because the build quality and finish are A+. I wouldn't expect any less from Mishimoto.

I was looking for a relatively cheap aftermarket power steering reservoir for my off-road truck when I came across this item. I don't really care for the red paint, but I didn't care enough to pay the 40.00 extra for the black one. The other review mentioned the product was cheaply made and welds were terrible. The product I received had welds that were very nice, and it looked to be together well. The price at 40.00 is what I feel is sufficient for what this is.There are 3 things that held it back from a higher review.1.) the hose connections are cheap. They feel like plastic or very cheap aluminum. Replacing these with stainless or brass I think would be a significant upgrade.They do look to be removable though.2.) they connections are not at the bottom of the reservoir. They are lower than many of the other aftermarket products available, but there is about a half inch between the bottom of the reservoir and the hose connections, so making a pocket that doesn't really need to be there.3.) the mounting bracket screws directly into the top and is a pass through, rather than a welded in boss that keeps the tank sealed.Overall I think the product will be sufficient for my needs, and the items above are more for mishimoto as product improvements ideas. Also, the price at 40.00 is extremely fair for a universal product such as this.
