Ordered the Mission Delta to give it a try over the 4th of July. I have a 2005 MasterCraft X2 with the upgraded 750lb Wakeballast in the rear lockers and the 300lb center ballast. We would get a pretty good wave with loading one side and arranging the riders just right. Now with the MD, we fill both rear ballast about 3/4 and the center ballast and we get a much bigger, longer wave with a lot more push. The ride is level so easier on the passengers and switching sides takes only a couple of minutes! Well worth it if you really want to enjoy surfing!!

Put this on my 2011 Malibu LSV and the wake is entirely different...for the better! Bigger and cleaner! I was worried that it would fall off the boat and sink. The instructions say that use of the enclosed "leash" voids the warranty so I tested it's ability to float before applying it to the boat and it does, in fact, float. I attached it using on the suction cups and it has never come off in the 4 days we've used it. It makes a pretty big spray on the side it's attached to which would help you notice if it came loose although this hasn't been an issue thus far. If you don't want to pay $100k for a boat with a surf gate, this is a perfect $400 alternative!

Delta 2.0 works very well and creates a clean, large wave. Easy to attach and definitely sticks better to a flat section of hull. We lost it a couple of times when it was not properly attached and I might add a leash just for the heck of it. The customer service from Mission is excellent. When Delta 2.0 went missing, ( I think it was stolen while boat was docked at a campground) they sent me a new one no questions ask. So, make sure you register the product when you get it!!

I had high hopes, but extremely disappointed. I followed the instructions exactly as written, kept the boat under 10 mph, and on the first try, the suction cup failed. This would normally not be a big deal, as you can just try again. However, the tether is rather like a bungee cord. Now you have the device with stored energy attached to your boat. The damn thing slingshot itself into the back of the boat, breaking the plastic housing, and damaging my gel coat. I would avoid this product.

We purchased this wave shaper to use on our 2006 Malibu Wakesetter VLX. The product definitely cleaned up the wake, especially on the weaker side (passenger side on this boat) but unfortunately for our boat with stock ballast we were not able to make enough improvements to justify the $350 price. Unfortunately we also learned the hard way that this seller does not offer any returns even if you have just tested the item briefly. It's disappointing to not be able to test products like this, because they don't always work as well as expected. Overall, it could be worth the money depending on your boat.

This product is great, but in the product comparisons, one of the advantages of this product against the other similar products was that it came with a tether chord (to hook it to the boat in case the suction cups disengage during use). This was one of the reasons I selected this product. When I received it, there was no tether chord to be found in the package. I checked everything. It's not such a big deal, I was able to make one up with a piece of rope I had lying around, but it is upsetting that something is clearly mentioned in the product description but then missing in the contents.

For the price it's certainly worth it. Easy to take on and off with great suction. It does improve the size of wake.

This product works great!! Makes a clean wake and long wake. Used it on an air nautique and a wakesetter. Improved both wakes without the need of extra people in the boat.
