Got this to help finish some knit hems on some bargain fabric. I stitched it on the edge, then turned and pressed it. I opted to leave it as is and so far it has held in place perfectly, I just know to be careful washing the dress. But it's a lovely clean finish.

I use stay tape in my seams when I don't want the knit fabric to stretch in that particular seam. (Ex: shoulder seams.) I have sometimes used ribbon in the seam when I'm out of stay tape. This is SO much nicer than a bulky ribbon in your shoulder seams! It's light weight and provides excellent stability in the seams. I have previously used a much more expensive brand; I was very glad to find this product for such a low price! As any seamstress or tailor would agree; why pay more for any notion than you have to?Although the shipping was rather slow, I would recommend this seller to my friends who sew. It's a great product for a great price!

I serge this on the edge of my knit hems, turn over and press to seal, and then follow with a top stitch with the sewing machine. It looks great.

I was able to hem my daughters shirt much easier with the tape. without the tape you have a ruffle effect.

I’m really impressed with the Misswendyfuse Knit Stay Tape! It’s a gamechanger for stabilizing seams. It irons on quickly and effortlessly, and cutting it to size is super simple. While the tape doesn’t stretch lengthwise, it does have a slight width stretch, for what it's worth.I’ve used it on shoulder seams and I tend to serge over it just as part of my standard sewing practice. It’s also been great for adding to knit bodices with skirts, adding much-needed stability for heavier fabrics. Just be mindful of adding it where you want stretch, since it does prevent/minimize stretching. After several washes, it remains intact! I appreciate that it’s soft against the skin, even for my child with sensory sensitivities, and the 1/2" size is just right for in-seams. Plus, being on a roll makes it incredibly convenient to use. I’m really happy with this product—it’s definitely a staple in my sewing supplies!

The size is perfect for hemming. I still stink at sewing with knits but my hems aren’t as wavy when I use this product.

I bought this because I was hoping it would work for stabilizing the back neck of knit tops that don't have the necessary support across the back neck. (If knit tops aren't stabilized the neckline just grows and grows and looks messy/slouchy quickly.)I was looking for something that was iron on because I usually hand-stitch some thin stay tape to the back, and it moves a lot in that process. I've put this on the back neck of a top (in the photo) and we'll see how well it works for stabilizing that area. I don't expect it will say on for too long going through the washer and dryer, but if it comes off I'll figure something else out.The description says it can be used to stabilize seams and hems, and I think this would be great for knit hems to help them not curl. I'll try that at some point but for now I'm really happy with this.

I've been sewing for years and I've only ever made my own knit seam stabilizer by cutting my own strips. Much like a bias tape maker, I am SO HAPPY I finally got the pre-made stuff, it makes everything SO MUCH QUICKER! I don't work with knits a lot, except when I sew for my mom or young kids, so this sized roll is going to last me forever. The roll is easy to store with my other tapes and trims without re-spooling it, which I love.I do feel like this (and pretty much every other fusible I use) doesn't stay fused perfectly, so I like to make sure my stitches catch it pretty securely so it never comes off. If I'm not doing a quick project, I usually baste fusible projects on with thread too just to make sure nothing wiggles on me. This is just my preference though, I haven't had an issue with this product yet!
