This worked great for a homemade low lying fog machine. Lots of the tutorials online suggest a 10 head unit but this worked great for me. Search for the ones that don't require dry ice. It's basically just a big tub with this and some water in the bottom, when the fog is blown through the mist it gets heavy and stays on the ground.

I needed something to boost humidity in a test chamber. I decided to see if this would work. It did! This little unit has been abused in a environment chamber cycling between extreme temperatures while in a plastic tub spuing its mist to increase the humidity to higher levels for product testing. 0 problems ran unit 3000 hours and have yet to swap out the disk that make the fog (please note I am using DI water). Use good water and it will give you hours of trouble-free operation. 1 issue are the floats, the cap doesn't seal very good on my unit, so it did sink in the tub, not an issue for me as I had to add water COB every day, however this be an issue for someone else, I'd recommend Teflon tape on the threads or some silicone inside the cap to create a gasket.

Bought half a dozen of those little ones they advertise for witch cauldrons, and was super disappointed. So I returned those and purchased this instead. THIS did the job. It was SUPER windy on halloween and my cauldron still looked great.The first time I powered it on was in the kitchen sink, my kitchen was immediately consumed in fog (which was I wanted)
