The mini dealer was going to charge $500 and change to replace this on our 2013 Mini Cooper Sport. The cost for the quality is excellent. It was super easy to install. Make sure you still have your plastic clips to hold it securely on the hood because it doesn’t come with new ones. I installed it in about 10 minutes. Looks fantastic!

The part ws a perfect fit, good quality and looks just like my original, the only thing is that it does not bring the plastic fasteners, but other that it a great item

the fresh air inlet came in looking nice. once i started to mount it on my car, i found that the molded mounting bracket was very low quality. as you can see in the pictures, when they injection molded the part it came out not filled all the way( cracks in the bracket.)im very disappointed because i know that in a very short time this part will fail due to the flawed manufactuing.one other thing that was disapointing is they didnt supply the required push rivits needed to mount the inlet on the car. (these parts break while removing the old inlet). i had to run around looking at the local parts stores to find a solution that could have been solved if they had just supplied the part with the inlet scoop.Just saying if your going to offer these types of products, go the extra inch and make sure the customer doesn't have to go out of there way to make the install.

Installed this scoop two weeks ago to replace the original scoop which had become cracked. Within two weeks, the top of the scoop began to melt and sink. Granted, it's going onto a dark hood in Texas during the hottest summer on record, but this is still pretty disappointing to see.

This is a solid aftermarket replacement fory 09 R56. It does not come with mounting hardware so fo yourself a favor and order them ahead of time. As for longevity I can't say, the hood scoop is not terrible quality but it's far from OEM.

Good but not what I expected, works but doesn't really line up on the top part of the hood, heated it up a little and got it to shape but idk how long that will last other then that it's going I mean it's just a hood scoop so don't really matter also was on the cheap side witch is better lol
