Not really much to say. I wanted plain valances for our extra tv room and these fit the bill. Size was right and material is very nice. They would look better on a 2" rod for sure. Mine is only 1". It would really add to the top of the valance and the look. I overlooked that when I ordered the rods for curtains.

I have a small living room window at the bottom of my staircase. It is very pretty and great material. I intend to get more when we get new windows.

After reading many reviews on similar products I figured that this valance might not actually be "blackout". Much to my pleasure, these indeed were black out, and the fabric is quite nice. I ordered 5 pieces for a 10 foot wide double sliding door. They look prefect.

The valences are made for a wide rod which I didn't notice in the advertisement. For that reason, I haven't put them up yet. They would be going on a spring rod that goes on the inside of the window frame so may be a little too heavy for the rod. Otherwise, the valences arrived earlier than the stipulated schedule and seemed to be of a good quality.

I purchased two for my kitchen window. They were well made with quality material and were excellent black out. Unfortunately, they did not work for this application and I had to return them. Still, a very good product.
