These work as they should, but I think the black adds a sleeker more modern look as the color matches the tuning pegs, tail piece, chin rest, finger board, you get the idea. I've ordered these multiple times for my violin, my Son's, and a few I've fixed up from my Mother's house. They are solid and trustworthy. No issues, just get them!

I recently used these fine tuners for a 3d printed violin I made, they worked great! Only issue i have with them is that the tuning knobs are longer than I would like them to be and I don't want to cut them down myself.

I got these in "stable black" to better color match the rest of my violin/hardware and they don't disappoint.They swapped in very easily for the old fine tuners and have great precision - tuning is now a breeze (and color matched, too!)

they were cheap, and i should have known that they wouldn't be very good. they work if it's all you can afford, but they dont turn well even after being oiled. just buy nicer tuners.

Overall very nice product. The ball-end strings were very tight to get installed and I used a needle nose pliers to open the G string tuner a bit. My tailpiece is old and pretty long so I only had 1-2 mm of play for the tuner but that is OK since it only has to move a very small distance.

Good finish and smooth action. Fit well in the tail piece. Nothing bad to say about these.
