Works as described. Pleasantly surprised at how easily this slides my mixer. I store mine in a lower cabinet and constantly need to shift its position a few inches-in order to access other items, and it was difficult to say the least. Soft pads helped some but nothing like this item! It’s fantastic, smoothly sliding with just a gentle push. And it comes in RED my favorite color, matching my mixer. Why did I wait do long?

This is not a bamboo cutting board or a chopping block so don't expect it to be 1" or more thick. It is a bamboo slider design to allow you to slide your mixer around your counter with no effort what so ever. If it was thick and heavy it would defeat the purpose. It is light weight bamboo and only a 1/4" thick. It is not big bulky or intrusive. It looks great under my mixer. The most important thing to know is that does exactly what you are buying it for. To be able to slide your mixer with ease. You no longer will have to lift your mixer off the counter to reposition it. I have the 7 qt bowl lift pro mixer and I can move/push it around my counter using 1 finger. My mixer is candy apple red and looks great sitting on the bamboo slider. You see the red base of the mixer with a small trim of wood around it. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed. That is unless you are expecting to receive a cutting board..Update 6/29/23..After using my mixer several times on the slider I am still very pleased with it. The only thing I would like to mention is that I bought the 7 qt mixer to make large batches of dough. I use approx.14 cups of flour in my dough. With a dough ball this size the front part of mixer/slider will slightly move side to side while kneading the dough. It doesn't move around the counter. It stays put. It is just the front of the slider will slightly slide side to side because of the large mass of the dough ball it is kneading. It still recommend it and would by it again..

This bamboo board is a perfect accessory providing great ease in moving my Kitchenaid mixer. Thrilled how it fits the base of the mixer perfectly and now moving the heavy mixer is a breeze. Great product, thrilled I purchased it!

I received a beautiful Kitchen Aid for my birthday and was so excited to use it. I have very deep counter tops and it was not easy to slide into the corner and out when i wanted to use it. This solved that. It not only looks high quality but is also thick and durable. I have gotten flower and dough on it a few times and it is so easy to wipe clean. It makes moving my mixer so much easier when i want to use. it.

This is a little bit small for my mixer. But I put it on the slider, and it works fantastic. I can slide the mixer out, and slide it back to clean.

I love that I am able to move my mixer around now underneath the cabinets. The wood color is pretty but it is not very thick and durable.

I got it so I maneuver my mixer on my not so big counter.It is a big help.The mixer slides close to me when I'm working with it, and slide back to its corner when I'm done.Great help. Great solution.

The kitchen addition you didn’t know you needed. Has hard plastic “feet†so your mixer will easily slide to a position where you can use it in comfort. No more rubber mixer pads hopping across the counter. Definitely recommend.

I love this. It was becoming difficult for me to move my mixer because of arthritis in my hands. With this board it slides easily into position and my mixer fits on it perfectly. It is a great value for the money.
