I got these for a cruise and they were fantastic. Our cabin was pretty dark at night (well you could turn on the tv but we did not want that) so we put these around for bathroom wakes. It worked well, throughout the entire 7 day cruise and we had no issues with bringing them on board. The light is bright enough to find your way to the bathroom without being too bright to wake you up!

After going through several sets of automatic lights, I came upon these and decided to give them a try. I was initially highly impressed, they worked great. Each light has three methods of attachment, you can mount them directly to a surface by sticky pad, use a magnet on a sticky mount, or by a screw. I use the magnet currently. They are a bit of a battery investment, each runs on 3 AA's. I have to say, I was really impressed by their performance, they came on quickly, and cast a pretty strong light. The only thing that kept this from getting a five star rating is the fact that only 3 out of the 4 work consistently. The fourth works intermittently. If I change the batteries frequently (I've never had to change the others), it will work for a short while, but the cost adds up quickly. I probably just received a bad one, but be aware it is an issue for me.

I bought these in August of 2024 after 5 tornadoes touched down in Ohio on the same day and knocked out power for 5 days. Eight months later and they’re still essentials throughout the house. Decent battery life especially combined with Amazon basic rechargeable AAA batteries. Great for camping. Great for the bathroom in the middle of the night. Magnetic backing for easily attaching to metal. A little bright for the bedroom at night. Solid construction.

We used these in a cruise and the magnets fell off in a matter of minutes. They would have gotten more stars if they didn't have the issue. Just the right brightness and turned on whenever we walked by them. (We had to have them placed on our over door storage.)
