Five stars now but... Purchased this regulator for my ZN150T-18 (16 inch wheels) because it said it was for ZNEN 12 coil, 6 wire connector three phase dc system. It arrived on time but when I plugged it in it blew the fuse. Dang. This is a 2012 that I've put over 14,000 miles on it so when the original regulator quit charging I purchased what seemed like the right replacement but it wouldn't regulate. I tried working with it for a number of miles (burning extra lights to keep it from over charging) but this only sort of worked and I was happy to get my new regulator and then it blew the fuse. I did the bias check on all three regulators and all diodes checked ok. HMMMM. After a couple of days of pondering I decided to check the bias polarity. What I found was the red and black wires in my wiring harness were reversed from the regulator. Thus the direct short. I have no idea why this was the case but I reversed them and now it works like it should. I installed a volt meter so I could monitor the voltage and it's rock solid at 14.4 volts whether it's 2500 or 7000. So good to have a working charging system. Thank you

Had a practically new (2017-2018 with 150miles) Znen 150cc 4 stroke scooter. Not charging whatsoever. Replaced this regulator, and found it interesting the original one was missing one terminal on the black wire, when compared to the new one. I honestly think this scooter left the factory with either the wrong regulator, or simply a defective one. Now it sits at 14.5V idling.

On my Znen scoter the headlights went out after a few minutes, sometimes came on randomly and the battery wasn't charging either. The voltage regulator got pretty hot.I studied the wiring diagram and figuered that the voltageregulator wasn't working right.I ordered this one and it fixed the problem. It was an easy plug and play. So far so good.
