I have an ESP E-II M-II and this nut is ever so slightly too short in length and too short in height. The width and string spacing is spot on though. I put Tusq nuts in all of my guitars as they are great. After researching deeper it appears that the 6642 nut fits most ESPLTD guitars, however, not all. For the ESPs that the 6642 isn't quite big enough (ESP E-II and others) the 6143 is the right fit as it is taller and longer by a hair. I've ordered the 6143 so fingers crossed that this time it fits !!!

This is too small for LTD EC-256. It sits too low. What fit mine was the PT-6143-00 . The 6143 fit perfectly!! No sanding just a spot of glue and it stays in tune perfectly.

Not much to say here. Nut was a drop in replacement on my ESP LTD EC-401. Helps improve tuning stability.

This is the best nut I have ever dealt with on a guitar. I actually bought this for a Les Paul kit I’m building, but I have another guitar that I wanted to try it on. This nut will fit both guitars with only minimal, if any adjustments. On the guitar I just put it on, the action finally came down to where I wanted it. The tuning is much easier and so far stays in tune better. And a buzz on theG string I never could nail down is gone. Bottom line. I’m ordering this nut again for the kit guitar. And I expect it to perform as just as well and have no problems. These nuts require a good amount of measurement to insure an accurate fit. I nailed this one and got exactly what I needed. Well worth the money. Nut came well packaged to protect it, and with a nice “handwritten†note.

Unfortunately I listened to folks online saying this was the right nut to fit an Ltd ec-256. It is the perfect length and correct string spacing but the height is too low. The stock nut is 8mm high and this nut is only 7.69mm high. So I returned this pt-6642-00 and got the right one for my ec-256 which is the pt-6143-00. You might have to sand it down just a hair but it’s well worth the effort. Sounds great on this guitar for sure.

Didn't need to modify at all. Same size as factory nut. Fit right into place, glued it then done.

I put one of these on a LTD EC 1000 CTM to replace the stock plastic nut, and it never goes out of tune now. Permanently lubricated too, so no need to use nut sauce.
