If you leave it on the hat for a longer period of time, the results are more noticeable. We found that steaming the brim of the hat before putting it into the bender helped it stay in the form. It worked well and helped to bend it to our liking. It’s nice that you can leave it overnight and now have to worry about bending the hat manually. The adjustable button strap helps to get the amount of bend to your liking!

This was my first purchase of this specific brand. I like a bit of a bend in the brim of my hat, we call it a "kevin". In the past we used to rubber band a baseball in the brim. Yeah I'm old.Anyway I came across these brim benders and purchased more as the collection grew. Went to pickup some more recently and the price went up $3 so I searched around and found this brand at a much more reasonable price. The material is a lil diff but it does the job exactly the same.

It perfectly bends to my bill every time. This product is best and most effective with steaming the bill first and then putting it on the bill bender.
