We focus on increasing product quality by using the best PU material that is resistant to pilling, wrinkles, and deformation.
The poufs come without any filling material and in a custom package, so you have to find a way to fill them when they arrive. Don't worry, we've got your back, and filling them is part of the fun. The bottom section of every pouf has a zipper, which allows you to zip them up.
There are 2 options to fill your pouf:
1. DIY and reusable filler:
You may fill your pouf with any fabric you have lying around the home. You can make use of old clothes you no longer wear or need, old sheets, towels, blankets, curtains, stuffed toys, you can even use newspapers.
2. Fillers from the store:
You can choose between these options: Poly-fill, Cotton Fiber, Polyester Foam, Pillow Filling.
We don’t recommend using bean bag refills and shredded foam. It is really hard to stuff pouf with them at home.
We strongly advise you to choose the reuse and recycle option while filling your new Moderner pouf. It not only helps to create a sturdy, structural pouf. The most ethical and conscious method to fill your pouf is to upcycle otherwise discarded materials.
You may fill the top half of your new pouf with poly-fill to make it softer, but we recommend using old pillows, clothing, bed linen, towels, and unused fabric for the majority of it.
The softer things should be towards the top for comfort, while the heavier items should be at the bottom for structure. Remember to fill your pouf gradually, taking care to start at the edges to loosen the material.

I have a very small study (with no storage), that has a pullout sofa and storing the Queen size bedding is a necessity but also a huge PIA. I also can’t do a coffee table as the space is too small to move/store a coffee table when the bed is pulled out. This little ottoman is the PERFECT solution. I never understood the “unstuffed ottoman†until I read the reviews on this- and realized why it’s unstuffed. GENIUS all I can say!!! Absolutely genius!This little ottoman holds a queen size comforter (not a super fluffy one, but it IS a comforter, not a bedspread), a queen sheet set and two standard size down pillows.Holy crap! Unbelievable!AND it looks adorable!AND I can easily fold it up and store it away in a drawer when I’ve removed all the bedding from it and the bed is pulled out.Absolute genius piece of home furnishings. Not even a standard “storage ottoman†could hold all that. Maybe it could but it would be taking up way more room. I am seriously considering a second one to hold spare pillows and blankets that are taking up valuable closet space. I’m even considering a third one for the boat to hold spare blankets, pillows and towels. This is a great item- really, really well made, not real leather but you’d never know, zipper is sturdy and this is a really fashionable piece. Perfect for small spaces with no storage. Not to sound like a jerk, and I’m only saying it for context, but I have spent THOUSANDS on a single chair (think 5 digits), and have no problem doing so, I spend on great quality furniture, but this inexpensive adorable little piece is a perfect gem and fits right in next to the crazy expensive pieces. The quality is weirdly fabulous for the price. Highly recommend. Probably best Amazon purchase in quite a few years.

I’m happy with the pouf footstools. Pretty color, thick fabric, quality stitching. They smelled first out of the bag so I aired out for 24 hrs before stuffing & they seem fine now. I it takes tons of stuffing & I still need to add more. So far in each I used a 24inch square pillow, 3 gallon sized bags of shredded memory foam & a throw blanket. I’ll buy more more memory foam and fill out edges. Price is decent. Perhaps Would look/feel better in real leather but I try to be environmentally conscious.I use these as cat beds lol. They’re replacing 2 Very old outdoor/indoor bean bag stools that, after 22+ yrs, have never been properly washed (covers not removable). I can just wipe the new ones clean. So far my kitties seem quite happy about purchase.

It’s nice for ottoman, but too short for seating. Even before sitting on it, it looked too short. Stuffed it with 4 FJÄDRAR IKEA pillows (couldn’t fit more in). It looks good and works well as ottoman for propping up legs, but I was hoping for something that could also work as extra seat when more people are over. Also, the opening to fill it is a little small and cumbersome.

Needed something to put my feet on and lost the ottoman battle with my wife. Liked it so much I bought another.It's durable. Kids have used it as a jumping off device since I stuffed it.Took advantage of some Amazon sales for king sized comforter sets and stuffed it with two king sized full comforter sets.Really like it though, is comfy, the color is nice, accurate to the photos. Also have the whiskey color which is also nice.Might get a third.

Over the years I have some how accumulated tons of decorative/holiday pillows. I have gathered up 3 trash bags of them & they took up alot of storage space. I was able to stuff all 3 bags of small pillows (at least 15) into the ottoman. Much impressed!! I holds so much & now is fluffed to the perfect size resting under my feet & I can easily pull out each holidays pillows as needed. It feels very strong & durable. The zipper hole was a little tight for a 12x12 pillow & I was worried I might break the zipper while putting the pillows in. Especially once I got towards the 3rd bag of pillows but it held great & with a little maneuvering I was able to zip it closed. So glad there was unstuffed option. It saved me space, money & is beautiful too.

Very pleased with the look and wear so far. It's a good match for our brown leather couch, and stuffing it with random rags, towels, and old jeans was a hilarious project.

I didn’t realize when I bought this that it’s the shell only and I would have to fill it. After reading some reviews and being the impatient person I am, I just want to Walmart and bought 4 of the mainstays $4.88 pillows to fill it. They also had very small decorative pillows on clearance that I purchased for cheaper than a bag of batting. It looks fine. It was a lot of work though. I don’t love that it sounds like a long winded old man fart anytime I sit down or get up because of the pillows compressing. In the end I should have sent it back because it’ll never be firm enough to be practical for sitting. Filling it is a giant pain and I’d rather spend another $20-$30 to have one come filled. It’s cute though and will probably last forever since it won’t get any use!
