Most people don't need the quality of these cables, but if your band does gigs and moves gear from place to place, it becomes more important. Believe me, you don't want a cable to fail at a performance. I've never had a Mogami cable fail. Can't say that about some of the cheaper brands. Yes, they're expensive, but they never break, and even if one does fail they are guaranteed forever.

This is my second time to buy this product. I bought the 3 foot version and they were a vast improvement in sound quality over the Audio Quest XLR cables I was using between my Schiit Freya+ preamp and Schiit Vidar amp. I bought the six foot length to run between my Tascam CD-240 and the preamp. I’m a music minister so I obviously use XLR cables a lot. For my home system, I decided to use higher quality cables but not go crazy on the price. In my opinion, the Mogami Gold cables are an excellent choice for high quality at a reasonable price.

From a content creator/streamer/audiophile this is perfect. Yes it’s a premium price but for a premium long lasting cable with lifetime warranty. There was this annoying high frequency hiss whenever I spoke into my microphone and this eliminated it. I was using an Amazon basics XLR cable and it was definitely lacking in the shielding department. I believe Mogami has the best shielding in the market, at least from the many reviews I’ve seen in regards to frequency interference. If you’re getting annoying feedback, this is a great place to start. Especially if your set up is surrounded by cables and any devices requiring power

I learned the hard way that if you're using a great mic you need great XLR cables to match!I use the Shure SM7B mic paired with the Fethead and the Go-XLR and I before I bought these I was using the $8 Amazon Essentials XLR Cables and there's a night and day difference in quality!I have my mic come up from behind my PC so it's very close to my PC with the Amazon XLR cables I was getting a buzzing inside my mic everyone on my stream complained it sounded so terrible and it did! I asked my friend who also had a Shure SM7B what he uses for his and he told me he used these Gold Mogami Cables!I bought them and the rest is history! The sound is so crisp and nice, the buzzing is finally gone all external interferences have disappeared and I didn't realize having nice XLR cables would make such a huge difference for sound quality but it really helps! I’m a performing acoustic guitars with a home recording studio. I usually mic my guitars and voice. These cable are the best I’ve found. They’re incredibly low noise and very well made. They’ve held up well in spite of frequent set ups and take downs on the road.

As a career voice actor, I've carefully chosen every component in my audio chain. I don't expend hard-earned funds on gear that I haven't tested or at least exhaustively researched.A while back, I began to detect some 60 Hz hum creeping into my tracks. I eliminated the possibility of a ground loop—the studio is powered through a 2 KW, medical-grade isolation transformer, and every chassis is tied to a common, exterior copper grounding rod.I checked all my connectors and connections, and I made sure that no AC power cables were lying alongside the signal cable from my voice booth to my AD/DA converter, but the problem persisted. Then I replaced the XLR cable from condenser mic's power supply to the connector on the wall of my voice booth, and I replaced the XLR cable from the booth to my AD/DA converter with Mogami Studio Cables.Voila! Problem solved.In at least one independent survey that I read, Mogami Studio Cable exceeds all other commonly-available cables in shielding from both external RF interference and AC hum. Mogami Studio Cable may be a bit stiffer than the cable to which you're accustomed, but it isn't meant to be repeatedly laid out and then rolled back up. It's meant to lie on the studio floor.Yes, it's a bit more expensive than other, commonly-available cable, but if you're serious about impeccable audio—my work depends on it—Mogami is worth the additional cost.

Este cable se siente de muy buena calidad, pero mas que eso el nivel de aislamiento que tiene me dejo mas que satisfecho. Por el espacio que manejo tengo muchos cables y equipo cerca y le metian ruido a la señan que llevaba el cable y este fue la solucion.Un detalle que me gusto es el clip de seguridad, se nota que esta pensado para protejer tu equipo al desconectarlo
