I would love to give this 5 stars. I recently started a Christmas village. We spent time looking at each brand of village and ultimately chose Moments in Time because of the beautiful detail. I ordered 10 pieces, quite costly, but really wanted a good start. As they began arriving, I was beyond excited and each piece was just as detailed as advertised. They are truly beautiful. The problem is that there is no timer functionality. This means you have to turn each one off/on by hand every single day. How is this possible? How could they be this expensive and not have the ability to be 6 hours on and 18 hours off, like almost all other battery powered decorations in this day and age? Serious design fail. I have seriously contemplated sending them all back, but am so in love with the detail. Very disappointed.

This is a nice piece, looks great in my display. Only one problem, the streetlight arrived broken. Fortunately, the light still lit up on it, so I super glued it back in its spot. Seems to be holding okay. It still is a lot to pay for something to be broken. However, I will live with it. Just not worth sending back.

This Christmas village is absolutely lovely! It look great on my side table. If you like nostalgic Christmas scenes, this is perfect.

I was hoping for so much more for the price of this. It is very poor quality. It’s not bright like it shows. The battery compartment is missing the screw and is not straight at all. Sadly disappointed.
