These are amazingly strong compared to price/size. When I first seen them I thought they wouldn't be any good but they are just as strong if not stronger than my other sous vide magnets that are bigger.

TLDR; they work but easier solutions exist that don't risk your food safety.These are very powerful magnets and its easy to damage the silicone covering. I also found that its easier to simply put a rock on top of the sous vide bag to keep it below the waterline. The silicone wore off the magnets pretty quick with use. I wish they were stronger because they don't hold the bag under the water as well as I hoped.

Update: added 1 star for excellent CS. QC still needs to improve.Original review:These Sous Vide Magnet Clips are effective for keeping bags submerged, thanks to their food-grade silicone coating. However, the pack advertised as 12 only contains 6 magnets, which is misleading. Despite this, they perform well in ensuring perfectly cooked meals. It is a good deal if you actually get 12 magnets.

I used these exactly as intended, to hold my vacuum sealed bags below the surface while cooking sous vide, and they performed like champs! They held tight through a cambro container wrapped in an insulating layer of wetsuit-like material. These are very strong magnets. I like the silicone coating on the outside so they don't scratch or catch on anything, especially the bags, of course.
